North African Championship

The North African Championship was a football competition involving the territories of French Algeria, French protectorate of Morocco and French protectorate of Tunisia. It was played between the champions of the Tunisian, the Moroccan football league and the 3 Algerian regional leagues. Morocco did not enter their champions until the 1928/29 season. In 1956 the cup was cancelled because Morocco and Tunisia both became independent of France in that year and left the cup. It was replaced by the Algerian CFA Championship.
